Fort Bend County MUD No. 25 wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We are working to make it easier to read, navigate, and use for all visitors.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test the site with automated tools and by hand, using a keyboard and on phones.

What we have improved

In October and November 2026, we made these changes:

  • Collapsible sections and the Construction Projects list can now be opened with a keyboard, and screen readers announce whether they are open or closed.
  • Links, buttons, and other controls show a clear outline when you move to them with the keyboard.
  • You can now zoom in on the site on phones and tablets.
  • Images and artwork have text descriptions (alt text).
  • Some text and table colors were darkened to improve contrast.
  • Headings were put in a logical order, and the slideshow on the Community page no longer moves on its own.
  • Each page now has a clear, descriptive title, and a search box is shown at the top of every page.
  • Forms and tables were updated to work better with screen readers.

Known limitations

  • Some older PDF documents, such as past agendas, minutes, and reports, may not be fully accessible. We are working on a plan to update them.
  • Some content from other companies, such as embedded Wistia videos, may not have captions.

If you need any document or video in another format, please contact us and we will help.

Accessibility tool

The site offers the UserWay accessibility menu, which lets you change things like text size and contrast. It is optional. We do not rely on it to make the site accessible.
