Proactive maintenance programs and improvements for your District’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are key components of our capital planning strategy. Taking a proactive approach allows the District to identify potential problems and develop long-term cost-effective solutions before minor problems become a crisis.
Below is a list of improvements currently in progress that will help the District provide the best possible service to our residents.
Water Well No. 3 Control Room Upgrade
- Project awarded to Brandt Contractors
- Project includes installation of weather head with all new wiring
- Estimated completion December 2024
New Hydro pneumatic Tank at Water Well No. 3
- Project awarded to Gilleland Smith Contractors
- Estimated completion date December 2024
Manhole Repairs and Coating Phase II
- Project awarded to Allteam
- Pheasant Creek has been completed. Currently working on Park Pointe
Sewer Treatment Plant No. 1 and 2 Improvements
- Project includes installation of new blowers at both facilities, new motor control center (MCC), digester sludge transfer system at Sewer Treatment Plant No. 1. New aeration diffuser system upgrade at Sewer Treatment Plant No. 2.
- Project has been advertised and bids will be opened on May 24th.
- Project was awarded to Industrial Co.
- STP #2 has been completed. STP #1 will start in October 2024
- Estimated completion 2025
Chlorine Room Improvements to Water Wells and Sewer Treatment Plants
- Project awarded to McDonald Electric
- Estimated completion December 2024
Generator Upgrade Program
- Generators will be replaced at Water Well No. 1, Water Well No. 2, and Lift Stations No. 1, 3, and 4.
- Project has been awarded to McDonald Contractors
- Estimated completion December 2024
Storm Manhole and Inlet Inspections
- Project awarded to National Works
- All neighborhoods in the District have been inspected. District Engineers have reviewed all the tapes. Will be going out to bid by end of 2024
