Proactive maintenance programs and improvements for your District’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are key components of our capital planning strategy. Taking a proactive approach allows the District to identify potential problems and develop long-term cost-effective solutions before minor problems become a crisis.

Below is a list of improvements currently in progress that will help the District provide the best possible service to our residents.

  • Budget: $5,192,000
  • Project Scope: Construction of a new force main along FM 1464 due to Lift Station 5 being at full capacity. Upgrade Lift Stations 6 and 11.
  • Status: The project was awarded to ARTurnKee and has begun work on Old Richmond Rd.
  • Budget: $3,178,000
  • Project Scope: Install a new reuse line from Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 to Chelsea Harbour Amenity Lake.
  • Status: The project is in the design phase.
  • Budget: $550,000
  • Project Scope: Install a new reuse line from Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 to the FM 1464 medians for irrigation purposes.
  • Status: The project is in the design phase.
  • Budget: $1,000,000
  • Project Scope: Replace all booster pumps and motors, valves, and above-ground piping at Water Wells 1 and 2.
  • Status: The project will be going out for bid
  • Budget: $300,000
  • Project Scope: Repair five stormwater outfalls into Red Gully.
  • Status: The project has been awarded to ARturnKee and will begin soon
  • Budget: $500,000
  • Project Scope: Replace piping and check valves at Lift Stations No. 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and Detention Ponds 1 and 2.
  • Status: The project was awarded to T&G Services and will begin soon
  • Budget: $5,500,000
  • Project Scope: Replacement of the existing water distribution lines in Pheasant Creek. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of approximately 32,400 linear feet of water lines by open-cut and trenchless methods in the size ranges of 4” through 16” in diameter, including water valves and fittings, service connections, fire hydrants, site restoration, and disinfection of water lines. Line replacement to start in 2027
  • Status: Currently performing a comprehensive topographic survey of the existing water distribution system in the Pheasant Creek Subdivision.
  • Budget: $1,316,000
  • Project Scope: Replace sewer lines in the District with sags that causes blockages and backups.
  • Status: Finished repair in Orchard Lakes States and next on the list is Highway 6 (Park Pointe) and Shady Ridge Trail (Summerfield)
